Memory book Project Farewell

2016
ERANET Core Organic, farewell to the project manager (about 300 x 160 mm, calendar binding with linen cover)

At the occasion of the farewell to the project manager the consortium collected letters from the entire project team. Every letter came with a picture. As an incentive I circulated three sentences, which then could be completed by email. A graphic designer put all parts together. Print, bind, done.
At her farewell the gift was presented, and the consortium sang Should Old Acquaintance be Forgot.

Memory book Jubilee

2015
80th birthday (about 220 x 220 mm, hardcover, Halbleineneinband)

For the anniversary book at the occasion of an 80th birthday I collected letters and congratulations from former colleagues. I had drafted some of these letters based on a conversation, and received confirmation from the congratulants.
Each member of the family, children and grandchildren, siblings and friends, had their say.
Each letter comes with its photo or drawing. In the appendix I attached the family tree, pedigree and descendant lists.

2009
IN MANCHER MENSCHEN HORIZONT, my father’s biography (about 300 x 220 mm, A4, calendar binding)

My father’s biography was my first attempt. At the wedding of my youngest brother, my father started to tell about his life, and an aunt of mine encouraged him to write his tales down.
After a chaotic start on my part, my father started to write the story by himself. I myself took care of the pictures, the layout, the printing and the binding.
In the appendix pedigree, curriculum vitae, letters regarding the history of the company, stories, poems and pictures are included.
The gift was then ready at his 80th birthday.

Memory book Project Chronicle

During the EU project SNOWMAN (2004-2009, ERAC-CT-2003-003219) the Consortium collected the relevant events and results. At the final conference the group published the SNOWMAN story.

Memorial book Work Journal

2008–2014
Work Journal for internships (DIN A4, hardcover)

By participating in projects of the European Framework Programmes, my employer has assigned interns to help me. Since these administrative internships were (and still are) limited to one year, I gave the trainees a work journal at the beginning and recommended daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly evaluations. For many of them it was their first year of employment.
The highlights of this year were finally written on the first page.
These people helped to publish The OIDA.

Manuscript

1992
Transcription of a scientific handwritten text (around 1860)

By order of the Museum of Natural History Vienna (Naturhistorisches Museum Wien) and the Department of Botany and Biodiversity Research of the University of Vienna, I transcribed the manuscript about the flora of the floodplains along the river Danube near Vienna by the botanist Siegfried Reissek.
200 pages Kurrentschrift, stack of loose paper.
