A poem sparked by a curious thought early in the morning.
You is the shower to my life
the fluid which embraces me
a content cold ‘n’ warm
which flows surplus my body’s face
You is the lather for my life
which irritates so softly
wash away the mud and dust
that others life has put in me
You is my towel
wrapping up my all
is covering latescent beauty
that apokalypso just for thee
You is the lyrics
extra large delicious enzyme
giving way to path a life
You is the tears to clean my thoughts
the single drop
to make my ocean full

Further readings and listenings, and additional notes:
In memoriam my English teacher late P. Benno Wintersteller (1940-2018). He introduced to his students the noticeable lyrics of “Bess, You Is My Woman now”.
My first thought that day „You is my towel“ sparked this poem.
